How it works

1. Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Memnite
2. When Memnite dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Memnite from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability.
4. Cast Memnite from the top of your library by paying 0 life.
5. Repeat.

This elegant little engine turns a zero-mana automaton into a self-sustaining loop right off the top of your library. Bolas's Citadel does the heavy lifting by letting you cast spells directly from your library, bypassing mana costs entirely by trading life instead—though since Memnite costs zero mana, that life payment is happily zero! As you use Bartolomé del Presidio to repeatedly sacrifice the creature, Mortuary catches it on its way to the graveyard and immediately tucks it right back onto the top of your library, ready to be cast all over again.
