How it works

1. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Memnite
2. When Memnite dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Memnite from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability.
4. Cast Memnite from the top of your library by paying 0 life.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop leverages Bolas's Citadel to cast Memnite straight from the top of your library for free, bypassing traditional mana costs by paying 0 life instead. From there, you sacrifice Memnite to Umbral Collar Zealot, which kicks off Mortuary's triggered ability to instantly recycle Memnite right back onto the top of your library. Because the Citadel lets you peer into the future and play cards from the top at any time, this continuous cycle generates an unstoppable storm of infinite deaths, sacrifices, and surveil triggers.
