How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Memnite.
2. Cast Memnite from your graveyard by paying 0. It will not enter with a finality counter on it due to Solemnity.
3. Repeat.
4. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the additional creature, adding one mana of any color.
5. Cast the creature from your graveyard by paying its mana cost. It will not enter with a finality counter on it due to Solemnity.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop lets you sacrifice and recast a 1-toughness artifact creature indefinitely to generate an infinite supply of colored mana, storm count, and death triggers. Leonardo, Sewer Samurai provides the crucial engine by letting you cast creature spells with power or toughness 1 or less directly from your graveyard during your turn. Normally, those creatures would enter with a finality counter and be exiled upon death, but Solemnity acts as a brilliant preventative blanket, stopping counters from ever being placed on your creatures so they can keep coming back. With that restriction nullified, sacrificing Memnite to Phyrexian Altar to generate mana costs nothing to recast and repeat, creating a perpetual motion machine of sacrifice and rebirth.
