How it works

1. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Memnite.
2. When Memnite dies, Mortuary and Remembrance trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Memnite from your graveyard on top of your library.
4. Resolve the Remembrance trigger, searching your library for Memnite and putting it into your hand.
5. Resolve the Phantom Train ability.
6. Cast Memnite by paying 0.
7. Repeat.

This loop hinges on a clever interaction between Mortuary and Remembrance whenever a creature heads to the graveyard from the battlefield, allowing you to turn a single cast into an endless cycle. By sacrificing Memnite to Phantom Train's activation cost, you send the little automaton straight to the graveyard, triggering both enchantments simultaneously. Mortuary safely tucks Memnite back onto the top of your library while Remembrance fetches a fresh copy directly into your hand, leaving you free to replay Memnite for zero mana and repeat the process indefinitely.
