How it works

1. Activate Shilgengar by sacrificing Memnite
2. When Memnite dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Memnite from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Resolve the Shilgengar ability.
4. Cast Memnite from the top of your library by paying 0 life.
5. Repeat.

This loop turns the seemingly humble Memnite into a perpetual sacrifice engine by exploiting the interaction between Shilgengar, Sire of Famine and Mortuary. Whenever Shilgengar demands a sacrifice, you feed it Memnite, whose death immediately triggers Mortuary to seamlessly recycle it right back to the top of your library. Meanwhile, Gwenom, Remorseless grants you the ability to cast spells directly from the top of your library for a life-payment of zero due to Memnite's mana value, allowing you to replay the artifact instantly without spending a drop of mana. Repeating this cycle infinitely generates boundless Blood tokens from Shilgengar along with an infinite storm count and countless creature triggers.
