How it works

1. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Memnite
2. When Memnite dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Memnite from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability.
4. Cast Memnite from the top of your library by paying 0 life.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop revolves around Gwenom, Remorseless, whose attack trigger lets you freely cast spells from the top of your library by paying life instead of mana. With Gwenom's ability active, you sacrifice Memnite to Umbral Collar Zealot, triggering Mortuary to seamlessly recycle Memnite right back to the top of your library. The Zealot's sacrifice activation also satisfies its own surveil requirement, perfectly positioning Memnite to be recast for zero life and instantly restarting the cycle.
