How it works
- Declare the creature with Breath of Fury attached and Adeline as attackers.
- Adeline triggers, creating a creature token.
- Deal combat damage using the creature that has Breath of Fury attached.
- Breath of Fury triggers, causing you to sacrifice the creature it is attached to, then attach Breath of Fury to the creature token, then causing you to untap all creatures you control and to get an additional combat phase after this one.
- Repeat each combat phase.
This cunning loop hinges on Breath of Fury's persistent recycling, turning a single combat damage connection into an endless sequence of extra combat phases. Fervor provides the crucial static ability that grants your entire board haste, ensuring any newly minted creature can immediately pile into the red zone without waiting. Meanwhile, Adeline, Resplendent Cathar does heavy lifting by automatically generating fresh Human tokens whenever you attack, supplying a brand-new sacrifice target for Breath of Fury to attach to so the chain never breaks.
