How it works

1. Activate Soldevi Adnate by tapping it and sacrificing Coercive Recruiter, adding an amount of equal to Coercive Recruiter's mana value.
2. When Coercive Recruiter dies, Nim Deathmantle triggers, causing you to pay 4 to return Coercive Recruiter from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
3. When Coercive Recruiter enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping Soldevi Adnate.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Soldevi Adnate and Nim Deathmantle into a devastating engine by using Coercive Recruiter as both the fuel and the recurring catalyst. When you sacrifice the Recruiter to the Adnate, its mana value covers a portion of the cost, while its death simultaneously triggers the Deathmantle's ability to resurrect it for four mana. Because the Recruiter enters the battlefield as a Pirate—and the Deathmantle conveniently turns it into a black Zombie in the process—its ETB ability immediately untaps the Adnate to do it all over again, generating infinite black mana and endless sacrifice triggers.
