How it works

1. Activate Soldevi Adnate by tapping it and sacrificing Sparring Mummy, adding an amount of equal to Sparring Mummy's mana value.
2. When Sparring Mummy dies, Nim Deathmantle triggers, causing you to pay 4 to return Sparring Mummy from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
3. When Sparring Mummy enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping Soldevi Adnate.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Soldevi Adnate to turn our sacrificial offerings into black mana, using Sparring Mummy's mana value of four to perfectly fund the revival cost. Every time Sparring Mummy hits the graveyard, Nim Deathmantle steps in with its triggered ability to resurrect it and strap right back onto the Mummy. That resurrection triggers Sparring Mummy's entry ability to untap Soldevi Adnate, resetting our sacrificial engine so we can start the cycle all over again.
