How it works
- Activate Benthic Biomancer by paying 1, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
- Benthic Biomancer triggers, causing you to loot.
- Queza triggers, causing you to gain 1 life and target opponent to lose 1 life.
- Spider-Man triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Benthic Biomancer.
- Repeat from step 2.
This loop begins with a single activation of Benthic Biomancer's adapt ability, but the engine quickly becomes self-sustaining thanks to a clever chain of triggers. Benthic Biomancer feeds its own counters by drawing and discarding cards, which in turn causes Queza, Augur of Agonies to drain our opponents and gain us life. That newly gained life immediately triggers Spider-Man, Peter Parker to place a fresh +1/+1 counter back onto Benthic Biomancer, resetting its adapt condition so the whole cycle can repeat from the top.
