How it works
- Cast Bladewing's Thrall by paying 2.
- When Bladewing's Thrall enters the battlefield, Lathliss triggers.
- Holding priority, activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Bladewing's Thrall.
- Resolve the Lathliss trigger, creating a 5/5 Dragon creature token.
- When the Dragon enters the battlefield, Bladewing's Thrall triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield.
- Repeat from step 2.
This clever loop relies entirely on Conspiracy to rewrite creature types across all zones, turning Bladewing's Thrall and Umbral Collar Zealot into Dragons so they can trigger and interact with each other seamlessly. With Conspiracy naming "Dragon," every time Bladewing's Thrall enters the battlefield, Lathliss, Dragon Queen sees a new Dragon and generates a 5/5 token. Before that trigger resolves, Umbral Collar Zealot—now also a Dragon—sacrifices Bladewing's Thrall to filter your library via surveil, which conveniently dumps the Thrall right back into the graveyard. That same token creation triggers Bladewing's Thrall from the graveyard, pulling it straight back to the battlefield to repeat the cycle indefinitely for infinite sacrifices, death triggers, and tokens.
