How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Ruthless Ripper, adding one mana of any color.
2. When Ruthless Ripper dies, Missy's first ability triggers, returning Ruthless Ripper from your graveyard to the battlefield face down as a 2/2 Cyberman artifact creature.
3. Activate Ruthless Ripper's morph ability by revealing a black card from your hand, turning it face up.
4. Ruthless Ripper triggers, causing target player to lose 2 life.
5. Repeat.

This loop turns the gruesome recycling of Missy and Phyrexian Altar into a steady engine of doom for your opponents, fueled entirely by Ruthless Ripper. Whenever you sacrifice Ruthless Ripper to the altar, Missy's triggered ability immediately steps in to snatch the dying nonartifact creature back from the graveyard, deploying it straight to the battlefield face down as a 2/2 Cyberman artifact creature. From there, you simply pay the morph cost of Ruthless Ripper by revealing a black card from your hand to flip it face up, draining 2 life from a target player before you sacrifice it right back to the altar to repeat the cycle.
