How it works

1. Cast Walking Ballista by paying 0 due to Centaur Omenreader, causing it to enter the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
2. Activate Together Forever by paying 1, targeting Walking Ballista.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Walking Ballista, adding CC.
4. When Walking Ballista dies, Together Forever triggers, returning Walking Ballista from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns Walking Ballista into a self-sustaining engine of pure energy, fueled entirely by the sacrifice outlet of Ashnod's Altar. With the cost-reduction of Centaur Omenreader allowing Walking Ballista to be recast for free, you can feed it to Ashnod's Altar for colorless mana and instantly retrieve it to your hand using the protective magic of Together Forever. Because Walking Ballista leaves the graveyard and returns to your hand each cycle, you can repeat this process as many times as you desire to generate infinite colorless mana, sacrifice triggers, and damage.
