How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Su-Chi Cave Guard, adding CC.
2. When Su-Chi Cave Guard dies, it triggers, adding eight C.
3. Activate Epitaph Golem by paying 2, putting Su-Chi Cave Guard on the bottom of your library from your graveyard.
4. Activate Grenzo by paying 2, putting Su-Chi Cave Guard into your graveyard from the bottom of your library, and then putting it onto the battlefield.
5. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns Su-Chi Cave Guard into a self-sustaining mana turbine by leveraging its death trigger to more than pay for the entire cycle. When you sacrifice it to Ashnod's Altar, you generate a massive surge of colorless mana that comfortably funds Epitaph Golem's ability to tuck the construct back onto the bottom of your library. From there, Grenzo, Dungeon Warden uses just a tiny fraction of your floating mana to easily fish Su-Chi Cave Guard right back out of the library and straight onto the battlefield, ready to be sacrificed all over again.
