How it works

1. Animate Pyramid of the Pantheon using Karn.
2. Activate Pyramid of the Pantheon by tapping it, adding three mana of any color
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Pyramid of the Pantheon.
4. Repeat from step 2.

By enlisting Karn, Silver Golem, we can temporarily turn our lands and noncreature artifacts into artifact creatures—which is the clever trick that lets Pyramid of the Pantheon moonlight as a creature. Once it has three or more brick counters and taps for three mana, Voltaic Construct steps in to untap it for a mere two mana, leaving you with a net profit of one mana each cycle. Because Voltaic Construct can repeatedly untap any artifact creature, this mechanical loop lets you generate infinite colored mana right on the spot.
