How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Eternal Scourge, adding CC.
2. Activate Eternal Scourge's encore ability by paying 3 and exiling it from your graveyard, creating a token copy of it with haste for each opponent you have.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing two Eternal Scourge tokens, adding CCCC.
4. Cast Eternal Scourge from exile by paying 3.
5. Repeat.
6. If you have three or more opponents, this combo nets infinite Eternal Scourge tokens with haste and colorless mana.

This loop relies on a brilliant identity-shifting trick enabled by Conspiracy, which makes Eternal Scourge a Sliver across all zones, letting it benefit from Sliver Gravemother granting every Sliver card in your graveyard the encore ability. Once Eternal Scourge hits the graveyard, you can repeatedly encore it for three mana, generating a surplus of tokens because Ashnod's Altar converts those sacrificed tokens into more mana than the encore cost required—provided you have at least three opponents to multiply your token yield. Finally, the built-in escape hatch on Eternal Scourge allows you to seamlessly recast it from exile whenever you need to restart the cycle, turning this mechanical alchemy into an endless fountain of mana, tokens, and triggers.
