How it works

  1. Activate Grinding Station by tapping it sacrificing another creature you control.
  2. Eloise's first ability triggers, and Eloise's second ability triggers if the creature was a token.
  3. Resolve the first trigger, creating a Clue token and a 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token.
  4. When the Clue and Thopter enter the battlefield, Grinding Station triggers twice, untapping Grinding Station.
  5. Resolve the second trigger, if applicable, causing you to surveil 1.
  6. Resolve the Grinding Station ability from step 1.
  7. Repeat.
