How it works

1. Activate Mystic Sanctuary by tapping it, adding .
2. Cast Walk the Aeons by paying its mana cost, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
3. Cast Ghostly Flicker by paying 2, blinking Mystic Sanctuary and Returned Pastcaller.
4. When Returned Pastcaller and Mystic Sanctuary enter the battlefield, they trigger.
5. Resolve the Returned Pastcaller trigger, returning Ghostly Flicker from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Resolve the Mystic Sanctuary trigger, putting Walk the Aeons from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
7. Move to your next turn, drawing Walk the Aeons during your draw step.
8. Repeat.

This mesmerizing loop allows you to take infinite turns by endlessly recycling your key spells right back to your hand and library. The engine is fueled by casting Walk the Aeons to secure extra turns, while Ghostly Flicker resets your battlefield by targeting Mystic Sanctuary and Returned Pastcaller. As these permanents re-enter the battlefield, Mystic Sanctuary tucks Walk the Aeons back onto your library just in time for your draw step, and Returned Pastcaller plucks Ghostly Flicker straight out of your graveyard to keep the whole sequence spinning indefinitely.
