How it works
Activate up to seven lands by tapping them, adding at least 2.
Cast Displace by paying 2, blinking Returned Pastcaller and Great Whale
When Returned Pastcaller and Great Whale enter the battlefield, their abilities trigger.
Resolve the Returned Pastcaller trigger, returning Displace from your graveyard to your hand.
Resolve the Great Whale trigger, untapping up to seven lands.
Repeat.
This clever loop revolves around the synergy of repeatedly blinking your creatures with Displace to fund its own casting cost and recycle it from the graveyard. Whenever Great Whale enters the battlefield, its triggered ability untaps up to seven lands to supply the necessary mana, ensuring the loop stays net-positive. Meanwhile, Returned Pastcaller serves as your crucial recursion engine, utilizing its enter-the-battlefield trigger to pluck Displace right back out of your graveyard and return it to your hand. By endlessly repeating this sequence, you generate infinite mana and trigger effects to overwhelm your opponents.
