How it works

1. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing Golgari Thug.
2. When Golgari Thug dies, it triggers, putting it from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Resolve the Yahenni ability.
4. Cast Golgari Thug from the top of your library by paying 2 life.
5. When Golgari Thug enters, Healer of the Pride triggers, causing you to gain 2 life.
6. Repeat.

This clever engine transforms the top of your library into an endless loop by leveraging Bolas's Citadel to cast spells using life instead of mana. By activating Yahenni, Undying Partisan to sacrifice Golgari Thug, you set off a chain reaction where Golgari Thug's own death trigger puts it right back on top of your library, ready to be recast. Meanwhile, every time that creature enters the battlefield, Healer of the Pride triggers to offset the life payment required by Bolas's Citadel, sealing a self-sustaining loop of sacrifice and rebirth.
