How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Golgari Thug.
2. When Golgari Thug dies, it triggers, putting it from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Cast Golgari Thug from the top of your library by paying 2 life.
4. When Golgari Thug enters, Healer of the Pride triggers, causing you to gain 2 life.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop hinges on Bolas's Citadel, which lets you bypass traditional mana costs by paying life to cast spells directly from the top of your library. By sacrificing Golgari Thug to Phyrexian Altar, you generate the mana needed to offset the Citadel's life payment while triggering the Thug's own ability to stack itself back onto your library.
