How it works

1. Cast Whitemane Lion by paying 0 and 2 life due to Defiler of Faith and The Immortal Sun.
2. Defiler of Faith triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
3. When the Soldier enters, Healer of the Pride triggers, causing you to gain life.
4. Resolve Whitemane Lion. When it enters, it and Healer of the Pride trigger.
5. Resolve the Whitemane Lion trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Resolve the Healer of the Pride trigger, causing you to gain life.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on stacking cost reductions from Defiler of Faith and The Immortal Sun to make Whitemane Lion completely free to cast. Whenever you cast the Lion, Defiler of Faith triggers to forge a 1/1 Soldier token, which in turn causes Healer of the Pride to trigger and pad your life total. Finally, when Whitemane Lion enters the battlefield, its own trigger forces you to return it right back to your hand, letting you repeat the entire process indefinitely.
