How it works

1. Cast Whitemane Lion by paying 0 and 2 life due to Defiler of Faith and Grand Arbiter Augustin IV.
2. Defiler of Faith triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
3. When the Soldier enters, Healer of the Pride triggers, causing you to gain life.
4. Resolve Whitemane Lion. When it enters, it and Healer of the Pride trigger.
5. Resolve the Whitemane Lion trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Resolve the Healer of the Pride trigger, causing you to gain life.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on casting and bouncing Whitemane Lion repeatedly for zero mana, brilliantly greased by Grand Arbiter Augustin IV and Defiler of Faith working together to completely wipe out its casting cost while letting you pay life instead. As you cast the Lion, Defiler of Faith rewards you by creating a 1/1 Soldier token, which in turn triggers Healer of the Pride to pad your life total and offset the cost of the Defiler's life-payment. Finally, when Whitemane Lion resolves and enters the battlefield, its own trigger forces it right back to your hand, ready to loop the entire process infinitely for boundless tokens, lifegain, and storm count.
