How it works

1. Activate Balduvian Trading Post and up to three other lands by tapping them, adding at least 4.
2. Activate Adagia by paying 3 and tapping it, creating a token copy of Treachery that is legendary attached to any creature.
3. If you control two legendary Treachery permanents, put one into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
4. The Treachery token's enter-the-battlefield ability triggers, untapping Adagia, Balduvian Trading Post and up to three other lands.
5. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns a recursive enchantment into a high-powered engine by leveraging the legend rule. By casting or copying Treachery to steal a creature, its entry trigger untaps your lands—including the mana-producing Balduvian Trading Post—giving you the resources needed to keep the cycle going. You then channel that mana into Adagia, Windswept Bastion's high-tier station ability, which spends three mana to create a legendary copy of Treachery. State-based actions immediately send one of your Treacheries to the graveyard due to the legend rule, clearing the way to repeat the process indefinitely and generate infinite mana and untaps.
