How it works

1. Donate control of Bloodcrazed Hoplite to an opponent.
2. Put a +1/+1 counter on Bloodcrazed Hoplite either by proliferating or by any other method.
3. Bloodcrazed Hoplite triggers, targeting any creature controlled by you or another opponent.
4. When the opponent commits that crime, Patrolling Peacemaker triggers, causing you to proliferate and put a +1/+1 counter on Bloodcrazed Hoplite.
5. Repeat from step 3.

By gifting your own Bloodcrazed Hoplite to an opponent using Fateful Handoff, you set up a brilliant trigger loop where it becomes the target of its own counter-removal ability. Whenever a +1/+1 counter is placed on Bloodcrazed Hoplite, its triggered ability forces you to choose a target creature controlled by an opponent—which counts as an opponent committing a crime against their own board or yours. That act of targeting immediately triggers Patrolling Peacemaker's static-watching ability to proliferate, placing a fresh +1/+1 counter right back onto Bloodcrazed Hoplite to restart the entire sequence indefinitely.
