How it works

1. Cast High Tide by paying .
2. Activate an Island by tapping it, adding .
3. High Tide triggers, adding .
4. Activate North Pole Patrol by tapping it, untapping the Island.
5. Activate Freed from the Real by paying , untapping North Pole Patrol.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This clever engine starts by casting High Tide to supercharge your basic Islands, allowing each one to tap for double blue mana. To tap and untap your lands ad infinitum, you enchant North Pole Patrol with Freed from the Real, using the creature's tap ability to untap your mana source while spending a fraction of your generated blue mana to untap the Patrol right back. Because North Pole Patrol's untap ability targets *any* permanent you control, this loop doesn't just fund itself—it untaps any other lands or permanents you need to churn out infinite blue mana and infinite mana of any other color your permanents can produce.
