How it works

1. Cast Temporal Manipulation by paying 3, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
2. Cast Mystic Retrieval by paying 3, returning Runic Repetition to your hand from your graveyard.
3. Cast Mystic Retrieval from your graveyard for its flashback cost by paying 2, returning Temporal Manipulation from your graveyard to your hand and exiling Mystic Retrieval.
4. Cast Runic Repetition by paying 2, returning Mystic Retrieval from exile to your hand.
5. Repeat each turn.

This clever loop locks down the game by chaining extra turns through a self-sustaining recycling bin. You begin by casting Temporal Manipulation to buy yourself all the time you need, leaving it in the graveyard alongside Mystic Retrieval after its initial use. Mystic Retrieval pulls Runic Repetition from your graveyard before you recast it using its flashback cost—returning Temporal Manipulation to your hand while exiling itself in the process. Finally, Runic Repetition plucks Mystic Retrieval right back out of exile, resetting the entire engine so you can repeat the process every single turn.
