How it works
- Activate Lithatog by sacrificing a land.
- Play the land from your graveyard.
- Repeat.
This vintage-legal engine centers around Szarel, Genesis Shepherd, whose static ability lets you play lands directly from your graveyard once they hit the bin. Fastbond removes your usual land-per-turn limit so you can immediately redeploy that land, while Lithatog provides the necessary sacrifice outlet to send the land back to the graveyard. Each iteration of this loop also triggers Szarel's ability when you sacrifice the nontoken land, pumping up your creatures with massive +1/+1 counters based on Szarel's current power while Lithatog grows larger from its own activation.
