How it works

  1. Activate Bloodthrone Vampire by sacrificing the persist creature.
  2. When the persist creature dies, it and Doom Weaver trigger.
  3. Resolve the Doom Weaver trigger, causing you to draw a card.
  4. Resolve the persist creature's trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
  5. When the persist creature enters the battlefield, Doom Weaver and Olivia trigger.
  6. Resolve the Doom Weaver ability, pairing it with the persist creature.
  7. Resolve the Olivia trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on the persist creature and causing you to discard a card.
  8. Remove a +1/+1 counter and a -1/-1 counter from the persist creature as a state-based action.
  9. Resolve the Bloodthrone Vampire ability.
  10. Repeat.
