How it works

1. Activate the creature by tapping it, dealing damage to an opponent's creature.
2. The opponent's creature dies due to deathtouch, triggering the second ability granted by Thornbite Staff, untapping your creature.
3. Repeat until all opponents' creatures die.
4. Repeat each time a creature enters the battlefield under an opponent's control.

By enchanting your creature with Gift of Doom, you grant it crucial deathtouch and indestructible protection, turning any damage it deals into a lethal blow. Arming that same creature with Hermetic Study gives it the active ability to ping targets, which is supercharged by the Thornbite Staff equipped to it. Every time your pinger uses Hermetic Study to eliminate an opponent's creature via Gift of Doom's deathtouch, Thornbite Staff immediately untaps your creature, letting you repeat the process to lock down the entire board and instantly wipe away any new threats the moment they arrive.
