How it works

Activate Kenrith's second ability by paying 1, putting a +1/+1 counter on Cryptic Trilobite.
Activate Cryptic Trilobite's first ability by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, adding CC that can only be spent to activate abilities.
Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns Kenrith, the Returned King into an infinite mana and counter engine with the help of Cryptic Trilobite. While Kenrith's counter ability normally costs {1}{G}, Heartstone steps in to reduce that activation cost to just {G}, allowing the Trilobite to trade a single +1/+1 counter for two colorless mana that must be spent on abilities. Because that generated mana can pay for Kenrith's ability while also reloading the Trilobite with a new counter, you can repeat this cycle endlessly to generate infinite ability-restricted mana and grow your creatures infinitely large. Finally, Chromatic Orrery lets you bypass any color restrictions on that vast store of mana, letting you filter it freely to activate the rest of Kenrith's royal abilities as many times as you desire.
