How it works

1. Activate Sleep-Cursed Faerie by tapping it, adding .
2. Sleep-Cursed Faerie triggers, causing you to loot.
3. Activate Sleep-Cursed Faerie by paying , untapping it.
4. Repeat.

This clever engine transforms Sleep-Cursed Faerie into a self-sustaining mana and looting machine by turning its own activation costs against it. Thanks to Cryptolith Rite, the Faerie gains the ability to tap for mana, while Heartstone steps in to reduce the activation cost of its untap ability down to just a single blue mana. As you repeatedly tap and untap the Faerie, Unctus, Grand Metatect makes the process even more rewarding by triggering a card draw and discard with every tap.
