How it works

1. Cast Temporal Manipulation by paying its mana cost, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
2. Activate Dust Bowl by paying 3, tapping it and sacrificing Mystic Sanctuary, destroying a nonbasic land.
3. Play Mystic Sanctuary from your graveyard.
4. When Mystic Sanctuary enters untapped, it triggers, putting Temporal Manipulation from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
5. Move to your next turn, drawing Temporal Manipulation during your draw step.
6. Repeat.

This engine achieves an absolute lock on the game by chaining infinite turns, using Temporal Manipulation to continually seize the initiative. To make this loop self-sustaining, Mystic Sanctuary acts as the crucial recursion piece, returning the spell directly to the top of your library whenever it enters the battlefield untapped. Since you need a way to repeatedly feed that land back into play, Perennial Behemoth lets you play Mystic Sanctuary straight from your graveyard, turning every iteration into a repeatable cycle. Finally, Dust Bowl serves as the sacrificial outlet that bins Mystic Sanctuary in the first place, clearing away a nonbasic land in the process so you can start the sequence anew.
