How it works

  1. Cast the creature card with cycling either from your hand or from your graveyard by paying its mana cost, causing it to enter the battlefield as a copy of Composite Golem.
  2. Activate the creature by sacrificing it, adding W manaU manaB manaR manaG mana.
  3. If you cast the creature from your graveyard, it is not exiled by Abandoned Sarcophagus due to Infinite Reflection removing the creature's cycling ability.
  4. Repeat.
  5. If the creature has mana value 4 or less, this combo nets infinite mana.

This clever loop turns a simple creature with a cycling ability into an infinite mana engine by leveraging a clever rules interaction. Because Infinite Reflection turns all your nontoken creatures into copies of enchanted creature—wiping away their printed text boxes, including cycling—Abandoned Sarcophagus's replacement effect fails to see a cycling ability when the creature dies, allowing it to stay safely in your graveyard instead of being exiled. From there, you can repeatedly recast that creature from your graveyard as a copy of Composite Golem, sacrifice it to generate a rainbow of five different colors of mana, and repeat the process to fuel your spells and abilities indefinitely.
