How it works

  1. Gain any amount of life.
  2. Trudge Garden triggers, causing you to pay 2 to create a 4/4 Fungus Beast creature token.
  3. When the Fungus Beast enters the battlefield, Ajani's Welcome triggers.
  4. Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Fungus Beast, adding CC.
  5. Resolve the Ajani's Welcome trigger, causing you to gain life.
  6. Repeat from step 2.
