How it works
- Activate Warren Soultrader by paying 1 life and sacrificing another creature, creating a Treasure token and a 1/1 Squirrel creature token.
- When the Squirrel enters the battlefield, Ajani's Welcome triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
- Repeat.
This clever loop turns a simple sacrifice into a self-sustaining engine by letting Chatterfang, Squirrel General double your token production whenever Warren Soultrader creates a Treasure token. Every time you sacrifice a creature to the Soultrader, Chatterfang replaces that single token with both the Treasure and a 1/1 green Squirrel, which instantly triggers Ajani's Welcome to replenish the life you paid for the activation. Because the Squirrel entering the battlefield provides you with a fresh creature to sacrifice, you can repeat this loop indefinitely to generate infinite mana, life, and death triggers.
