How it works

1. Cast Kor Skyfisher by paying 0 and 2 life due to Defiler of Faith and The Immortal Sun.
2. Defiler of Faith triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
3. When the Soldier enters, Ajani's Welcome triggers, causing you to gain life.
4. Resolve Kor Skyfisher. When it enters, it and Ajani's Welcome trigger.
5. Resolve the Kor Skyfisher trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Resolve the Ajani's Welcome trigger, causing you to gain life.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop lets you recast Kor Skyfisher infinitely by leveraging a clever intersection of cost reducers and self-bounce. With The Immortal Sun and Defiler of Faith both working to strip the white mana requirement away from creature spells—using a bit of life to cover the rest—you can play the Skyfisher for zero mana. When Kor Skyfisher hits the battlefield, its enters-the-battlefield ability forces you to return a permanent you control to your hand, which conveniently targets itself and resets the loop.
