How it works
- Activate Sunforger by paying and unattaching it, searching your library for Jeska's Will and casting it without paying its mana cost, adding at least six .
- Activate Sunforger's equip ability by paying 1, attaching it to Zirda.
- Activate Sunforger by paying and unattaching it, searching your library for Big Score and casting it without paying its mana cost and discarding a card.
- Resolve Big Score, causing you to draw two cards and create two Treasures.
- Activate Sunforger's equip ability by paying 1, attaching it to Zirda.
- Activate Hoverstone Pilgrim twice by paying 2, putting Big Score and Jeska's Will from your graveyard onto the bottom of your library.
- Activate two Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding .
- Repeat.
This loop is a masterclass in recursive toolbox engineering, turning Sunforger into an infinite engine for red mana and card draw. The magic truly begins with Zirda, the Dawnwaker, whose passive cost-reduction turns Sunforger's equip ability into a cheap tax of just {1}, allowing you to repeatedly reattach the equipment. By constantly unattaching Sunforger, you tutor up and cast Jeska's Will for a massive burst of red mana, alongside Big Score which fuels your hand with fresh draws while leaving behind Treasure tokens. Those Treasures are sacrificed for white mana to help pay the unattachment costs, while Hoverstone Pilgrim works quietly from the board to continuously recycle both Big Score and Jeska's Will right back to the bottom of your library so the whole cycle can begin anew.
