How it works

1. Activate Soulfire Grand Master by paying 2U/RU/R, causing you to put the next instant or sorcery card you cast from your hand this turn into your hand as it resolves.
2. Cast Jeska's Will by paying 2, adding at least seven and returning it to your hand.
3. Repeat.
4. If an opponent has eight or more cards in their hand, this combo nets infinite red mana.
5. If you control a commander, you may choose both of Jeska's WIll's modes to exile your library.

This delightful loop transforms Soulfire Grand Master from a simple lifelink enabler into a recursive engine by utilizing its activated ability to intercept spells on resolution, returning them straight to your hand rather than the graveyard. When you cast Jeska's Will while an opponent's hand is sufficiently stocked, the red mana it produces easily outpaces the cost of the Master's activation. Because Jeska's Will goes back to your hand instead of your graveyard, you can cast it repeatedly to generate infinite mana, astronomical storm counts, and countless magecraft triggers. Furthermore, if you control a commander, you can choose both modes each time you cast it, effectively exiling your entire library so you can play every single card you own.
