How it works

1. Activate Yenna by paying 2 and tapping it, creating a token copy of Angelic Renewal.
2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Yenna, adding CC.
3. When Yenna dies, both Angelic Renewals trigger.
4. Resolve the first trigger, choosing to sacrifice either Angelic Renewal and return Yenna from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. Resolve the second trigger, choosing not to pay.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Yenna, Redtooth Regent duplicating Angelic Renewal to create an endless cycle of sacrifice and resurrection. When you use Ashnod's Altar to sacrifice Yenna for mana, the multiple copies of Angelic Renewal trigger simultaneously, allowing you to easily return Yenna to the battlefield while leaving the extra copy behind to fuel the next iteration. Meanwhile, Rising of the Day ensures that Yenna enters the battlefield with haste and is ready to tap right away, while also boosting your creatures' power.
