How it works

1. Activate the creature by tapping it, dealing damage to an opponent's creature.
2. The opponent's creature dies due to deathtouch, triggering the second ability granted by Thornbite Staff, untapping your creature.
3. Repeat until all opponents' creatures die.
4. Repeat each time a creature enters the battlefield under an opponent's control.

This clever equipment-and-aura loop turns any hapless creature into an absolute board-clearing machine. By enchanting your creature with Lavamancer's Skill, it gains the ability to ping targets directly, while Rune of Mortality steps in to grant that ping lethal deathtouch. Meanwhile, Thornbite Staff equips to your creature to capitalize on all that destruction; whenever a creature dies to your deathtouch ping, the Staff’s triggered ability untaps your creature so it can immediately strike again.
