How it works

1. Activate Simic Ascendancy by paying 1, putting four +1/+1 counters on Crystalline Crawler.
2. Simic Ascendancy triggers, putting growth counters on it.
3. Activate Crystalline Crawler's second ability by removing three +1/+1 counters from it, adding 1.
4. Repeat.
5. At the beginning of your next upkeep, Simic Ascendancy triggers, causing you to win the game.

This clever loop exploits the compounding mathematics of permanent counters to rapidly fuel an alternate win condition. By activating Simic Ascendancy, you target Crystalline Crawler, but both Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider and Ozolith, the Shattered Spire step in to dramatically multiply those +1/+1 counters far beyond the base investment. You then harvest the excess counters using Crystalline Crawler's mana-producing ability to fully refund the activation cost of Simic Ascendancy, repeating the cycle to flood the board and rapidly stack enough growth counters to trigger an immediate game win.
