How it works
Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Body Launderer, adding CC.
When Body Launderer dies, its second ability triggers, returning Grist, Voracious Larva from your graveyard to the battlefield.
When Grist, Voracious Larva enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to pay to exile it and return it to the battlefield as Grist, the Plague Swarm with six loyalty counters due to Vorinclex.
Activate Grist, the Plague Swarm's third loyalty ability by removing six loyalty counters from it.
Grist, the Plague Swarm is put into your graveyard as a state-based action due to having zero loyalty.
Resolve the Grist, the Plague Swarm ability, creating a token copy of each creature card in your graveyard that is a 1/1 Insect.
When the Grist, Voracious Larva and Hidden Herbalist tokens enter the battlefield, the Hidden Herbalist token triggers once and the Grist, Voracious Larva token triggers for each token created this way.
Resolve all Grist, Voracious Larva triggers, choosing not to pay.
Resolve the Hidden Herbalist trigger, adding .
Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Grist, Voracious Larva token, adding CC.
Repeat from step 1, sacrificing a Body Launderer token instead.
This intricate loop harnesses the double-edged doubling power of Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider to immediately supercharge Grist, Voracious Larva into its planeswalker side, Grist, the Plague Swarm, with all six loyalty counters needed for its ultimate ability the moment it touches the battlefield. By sacrificing creatures to Ashnod's Altar, you feed the grave while fueling your mana supply, allowing Body Launderer to continuously fish Grist back out of the graveyard to restart the cycle. When Grist's ultimate fires off, it floods the board with copies of every creature in your graveyard—including fresh copies of Hidden Herbalists that trigger their revolt mana ability to help pay the entrance tax, alongside additional Body Launderers to keep the engine spinning infinitely.
