How it works

1. Cast Doomsday Excruciator by paying .
2. When Doomsday Excruciator enters, it triggers, causing each player to exile all but the bottom six cards of their library.
3. Cast One Ring to Rule Them All by paying 2.
4. When One Ring to Rule Them All enters, its first chapter ability triggers, causing Doomsday Excruciator to become your Ring-bearer and causing each opponent to mill the rest of their library.

When you cast Doomsday Excruciator, its entry trigger dramatically shrinks both players' libraries down to just six hidden cards, leaving opponents with a dangerously thin deck. You then follow up by casting One Ring to Rule Them All, whose first chapter ability takes advantage of the situation by making Doomsday Excruciator your Ring-bearer. Because Doomsday Excruciator's massive power matches or exceeds the remaining cards in your opponent's library, the resulting mill effect instantly buries the rest of their deck into the graveyard.
