How it works

1. Cast Kor Skyfisher by paying 0 and 2 life due to Defiler of Faith and Pearl Medallion.
2. Defiler of Faith triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
3. When the Soldier enters, Prosperous Innkeeper triggers, causing you to gain life.
4. Resolve Kor Skyfisher. When it enters, it and Prosperous Innkeeper trigger.
5. Resolve the Kor Skyfisher trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Resolve the Prosperous Innkeeper trigger, causing you to gain life.
7. Repeat.

This loop transforms Kor Skyfisher into a self-returning engine by leveraging cost reduction to eliminate its mana requirement entirely. With Pearl Medallion shaving off generic mana and Defiler of Faith discounting the remaining white mana in exchange for life, you can repeatedly cast the Skyfisher for free while Defiler of Faith rewards each casting with a 1/1 Soldier token. Meanwhile, Prosperous Innkeeper acts as the lifeblood of the setup, cushioning the life payments by constantly gaining you life whenever either the Kor Skyfisher or its generated tokens enter the battlefield.
