How it works

1. Cast Kor Skyfisher by paying 0 and 2 life due to Defiler of Faith and Pearl Medallion.
2. Defiler of Faith triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
3. When the Soldier enters, Thunder of Unity triggers, causing you to gain life.
4. Resolve Kor Skyfisher. When it enters, it and Thunder of Unity trigger.
5. Resolve the Kor Skyfisher trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Resolve the Thunder of Unity trigger, causing you to gain life.
7. Repeat.

This loop relies on a brilliant cost-reduction engine to cast Kor Skyfisher for free, combining Pearl Medallion and the life-payment ability of Defiler of Faith to completely wipe away the spell's mana cost. Every time you cast the Skyfisher, Defiler of Faith triggers to flood your board with 1/1 Soldier creature tokens, which conveniently trigger the drain ability of Thunder of Unity to sap your opponents' life totals while padding your own. Finally, when Kor Skyfisher resolves, its enters-the-battlefield trigger forces you to bounce a permanent back to your hand, naturally returning the Skyfisher to your grasp so you can recast the entire sequence indefinitely.
