How it works

1. Cast Whitemane Lion by paying 0 and 2 life due to Defiler of Faith and Pearl Medallion.
2. Defiler of Faith triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
3. When the Soldier enters, Aunt May triggers, causing you to gain life.
4. Resolve Whitemane Lion. When it enters, it and Aunt May trigger.
5. Resolve the Whitemane Lion trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Resolve the Aunt May trigger, causing you to gain life.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop uses the cost-reduction stacking of both Defiler of Faith and Pearl Medallion to drop Whitemane Lion's mana cost all the way down to zero, letting you recast it endlessly for just a couple of life points each time. Every iteration triggers Defiler of Faith to flood your board with 1/1 Soldier creature tokens, which in turn feed Aunt May's triggered ability to generate infinite lifegain. Meanwhile, Whitemane Lion's own entry triggers itself right back to your hand, allowing you to seamlessly reset the entire chain.
