How it works
- Cast Fractured Identity by paying 3, exiling Lich and causing each opponent to create a token copy of Lich, and lose life equal to their life totals due to Lich's effect.
- You cannot lose the game due to having 0 or less life due to Platinum Angel.
- Cast Cleanfall by paying 2, destroying all enchantments.
- Each opponent's Lich triggers, causing them to lose the game.
This clever sequence weaponizes Lich's most punishing clauses against your opponents by turning Fractured Identity into a game-ending gift. When Fractured Identity exiles your Lich, every other player is forced to create a token copy of it, instantly setting their life totals to zero as their new Liches enter the battlefield. While Lich normally demands that its controller watch their health and permanents closely, Platinum Angel acts as your ultimate safety net, ensuring you cannot lose the game when your own life total drops. Finally, casting Cleanfall wipes the slate of all enchantments—including those newly created Lich tokens—triggering their leaves-the-battlefield clauses simultaneously and forcing all of your opponents to instantly lose the game.
