How it works

1. Cast Fractured Identity by paying 3, exiling Illusions of Grandeur and causing each opponent to create a token copy of it.
2. The nontoken Illusions of Grandeur's second ability triggers, and each token Illusions of Grandeur's first ability triggers.
3. Resolve each token Illusions of Gradeur's trigger, causing each opponent to gain no life due to Archfiend of Despair.
4. Resolve the nontoken Illusions of Grandeur's trigger, causing you to lose twenty life.
5. Cast Aether Snap by paying 3, removing all counters from all permanents and exiling all tokens.
6. Each opponent's Illusions of Grandeur leaves the battlefield, causing them to lose twenty life.
7. At the beginning of your end step, Archfiend of Despair triggers, causing each opponent to lose life equal to the life they lost this turn.
