How it works

  1. Activate Mona Lisa by tapping it, adding at least G manaG mana.
  2. Cast Wirewood Symbiote by paying G mana.
  3. Activate Mirror Entity by paying 1, giving creatures you control all creature types and base power and toughness 1/1 until end of turn.
  4. Activate Wirewood Symbiote by returning it from the battlefield to your hand, untapping Mona Lisa.
  5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Mirror Entity's shapeshifting magic into a mana-generating engine. Because Mirror Entity gives all your creatures every creature type, Mona Lisa, Science Geek counts as an Elf, allowing Wirewood Symbiote to bounce itself back to your hand to untap Mona Lisa. You then simply recast Wirewood Symbiote using the green mana generated by Mona Lisa's tapped ability, paying just enough into Mirror Entity to keep the power-pumping cycle going.
